1. A light-emitting device, comprising:

  • a first light emitting diode (LED) region comprising at least a first LED element and a second LED element arranged on a single growth substrate; and

    a first electrode arranged adjacent to the first LED region and on the single growth substrate,wherein the first LED element and the second LED element are connected in parallel and share a first first-type electrode and a first second-type electrode, andwherein the first LED element has a shape different from a shape of the second LED element so that the first LED element has a recessed region and the first electrode is disposed substantially in the recessed region.
