1. A thin film transistor array panel comprising:

  • a substrate;

    a first gate line disposed on the substrate;

    a second gate line disposed adjacent to the first gate line;

    a data line crossing the first and the second gate lines;

    a thin film transistor electrically connected to the second gate line and the data line respectively;

    a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor at a first end having a first edge, the pixel electrode having a second edge opposite to the first edge; and

    a storage capacitance wire disposed closer to the first edge of the pixel electrode than the second edge, the storage capacitance wire having a first electrode line extending parallel to the second gate line and overlapping an edge of the pixel electrode, as well as a second electrode line connected to the first electrode line and extending parallel to the data line,wherein a portion of the pixel electrode overlaps with the first gate line; and

    wherein the second electrode line is disposed along the edge of the pixel electrode.
