Abstract

A data retransmission method for retransmitting a data using a wireless communication, including: receiving data transmitted from a transmitting apparatus; determining whether the received data is correct or not; transmitting data including information indicating that the received data is received correctly to the transmitting apparatus upon being determined the received data is correct, and transmitting data including information indicating that the received data is not received correctly to the transmitting apparatus upon being determined the received data is not correct; measuring an elapsed time from transmission of the data including information indicating that the received data is not received correctly; and monitoring whether to receive data corresponding to the received data from the transmitting apparatus before the elapsed time reaches a predetermined time.

Claims

1. A method for wireless communication that transmits and receives data between a transmitter wireless communication apparatus and a receiver wireless communication apparatus, the method comprising:

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

receiving transmitted data from the transmitter wireless communication apparatus;

on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

holding the transmitted data;

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

when the receiver wireless communication apparatus transmits non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received but the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives information indicating that the transmitted data is correctly received and does not transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, and the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not receive the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus within a first period,

transmitting, along with non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received, protected notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received;

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

when the transmitted data which is held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus and which is transmitted in response to the notification data is not correctly received within a second period after the first period,

retransmitting at least the notification data to the transmitter wireless communication apparatus; and

on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

determining, on the basis of information included in the notification data retransmitted, to transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus, and transmitting the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus.

2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

receiving transmitted data that the transmitter wireless communication apparatus transmits at a transmission timing of each of a plurality of processes being carried out in parallel at a reception timing corresponding to the transmission timing of the process;

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

when the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not correctly receive the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus at the receiving timing corresponding to the transmission timing after the receiver wireless communication apparatus transmits the information indicating that that the transmitted data is not correctly received to the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

transmitting notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received; and

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

when the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not receive the transmitted data, which is held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus and which is transmitted in response to the notification data, at the receiving timing corresponding to the transmission timing,

retransmitting notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received.

3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received further includes information indicating a request of retransmission of the transmitted data.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received further includes information indicating a request of retransmission of the transmitted data.

5. A method for wireless communication that transmits and receives data between a transmitter wireless communication apparatus and a receiver wireless communication apparatus, the method comprising:

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

receiving transmitted data from the transmitter wireless communication apparatus;

on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

holding the transmitted data;

on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

when the receiver wireless communication apparatus transmits non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received but the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives information indicating that the transmitted data is correctly received and does not transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, and the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives, along with non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received, protected notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received from the receiver wireless communication apparatus within a first period,

transmitting the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus in response to the notification data; and

on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

when the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives the notification data which is at least retransmitted from the receiver wireless communication apparatus in a case where the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not correctly receive the transmitted data, which is held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus and which is transmitted in response to the notification data, within a second period after the first period,

determining, on the basis of information included in the notification data retransmitted, to transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus, and transmitting the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus.

6. The method according to claim 5, further comprising:

on the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

receiving transmitted data that the transmitter wireless communication apparatus transmits at a transmission timing of each of a plurality of processes being carried out in parallel at a reception timing corresponding to the transmission timing of the process;

on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus,

when the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received from the receiver wireless communication apparatus, the notification data being retransmitted in a case where the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not correctly receive the transmitted data which is transmitted in response to the notification data at the receiving timing corresponding to the transmission timing,

transmitting the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus.

7. A system for wireless communication that transmits and receives data between a transmitter wireless communication apparatus and a receiver wireless communication apparatus, the system comprising:

a receiver that receives, on the receiver wireless communication apparatus, transmitted data from the transmitter wireless communication apparatus;

a holder that holds, on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, the transmitted data; and

a transmitter that;

when the receiver wireless communication apparatus transmits non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received to the transmitter wireless communication apparatus but the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives information indicating that the transmitted data is correctly received and does not transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, and the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not receive the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus within a first period,

transmits, on the receiver wireless communication apparatus, protected notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received along with non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received; and

retransmits, when the transmitted data which is held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus and which is transmitted in response to the notification data is not correctly received within a second period after the first period, at least the notification data to the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, wherein

the transmitter wireless communication apparatus determines, on the basis of information included in the notification data retransmitted, to transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus, and transmits the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus.

8. A system for wireless communication that transmits and receives data between a transmitter wireless communication apparatus and a receiver wireless communication apparatus, the system comprising:

a receiver that receives, on the receiver wireless communication apparatus, transmitted data from the transmitter wireless communication apparatus; and

a holder that holds, on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, the transmitted data; and

a transmitter that;

when the receiver wireless communication apparatus transmits non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received but the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives information indicating that the transmitted data is correctly received and does not transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, and the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives, along with non-protected information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received within a first period, protected notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not correctly received from the receiver wireless communication apparatus,

transmits, on the transmitter wireless communication apparatus, the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus in response to the notification data, and

when the transmitter wireless communication apparatus receives the notification data which is at least retransmitted from the receiver wireless communication apparatus in a case where the receiver wireless communication apparatus does not correctly receive the transmitted data, which is held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus and which is transmitted in response to the notification data, within a second period after the first period, determines, on the basis of information included in the notification data retransmitted, to transmit the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus, and transmits the transmitted data held in the transmitter wireless communication apparatus to the receiver wireless communication apparatus.
