1. A radio head in a point-to-point communication system, the radio head comprising:

  • a transmitter configured to operate at a first frequency;

    a receiver configured to operate at a second frequency; and

    a processor coupled to both the transmitter and the receiver, wherein the transmitter is further coupled to a first antenna interface that is coupled to a first antenna configured to transmit signals at the first frequency, and wherein the receiver is further coupled to a second antenna interface that is coupled to a second antenna configured to receive signals at the second frequency,wherein the radio head is a first radio head and wherein the processor is a first processor, wherein the first processor is coupled to a second processor of a second radio head, and wherein the second radio head comprises;

    a second transmitter configured to operate at a third frequency, anda second receiver configured to operate at a fourth frequency,wherein the second processor is coupled to both the second transmitter and the second receiver, wherein the second transmitter is further coupled to a third antenna interface coupled to a third antenna configured to transmit signals at the third frequency, and wherein the second receiver is further coupled to a fourth antenna interface coupled to a fourth antenna configured to receive signals at the fourth frequency,wherein the first radio head and the second radio head operate alternately, wherein the first frequency and the third frequency are the same, and wherein the second frequency and the fourth frequency are the same.
