1. A method for providing access to financial information via a text message, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a computer processor on a computing device, a text message from a customer;
determining, by the computer processor, financial institution identifier number based on the text message;
determining, by the computer processor, a customer identifier number based on the text message;
determining, by the computer processor, whether the text message contains a request code;
responsive to determining that the text message does contain the request code, sending, by the computing processor, a response to the text message from the computing device to the customer, the response comprising information being requested in the text message;
responsive to determining that the text message does not contain the request code, determining, by the computer processor, a plurality of numerical request codes based on the financial institution identifier number and the customer identifier number, wherein one of the plurality of numerical request codes is a numerical request code for an auto loan balance; and
sending, by the computing processor, a response to the text message from the computing device to the customer;
the response comprising the plurality of numerical request codes.
