- a touchscreen, the touchscreen comprising an interior surface bounded by a perimeter; and
a switch shaped and configured as an elevated button and extending from outside the perimeter of the touchscreen over a first input area in the interior surface of the touchscreen,wherein a touching of a predetermined portion of the switch to press against the first input area in the interior surface of the touch screen generates an input signal for the operation of the elevator installation.
