1. A lancet device for producing a puncture wound, comprising:

  • a magazine holder for holding a lancet magazine having several lancets;

    a lancet drive with a drive spring, a tensioning device for tensioning the drive spring and a connecting element adapted to contact a lancet arranged in the lancet magazine and move the lancet in a puncturing movement to produce a puncture wound;

    a magazine advancing mechanism configured to advance the lancet magazine to successively bring the lancets stored therein into a position in which they can be contacted by the connecting element and moved by the connecting element in a puncturing movement, the magazine advancing mechanism having active and passive operating states;

    a selection element with which the magazine advancing mechanism can be selectively shifted into the active or passive operating state, the magazine advancing mechanism remaining in the selected operating state until the selection element is shifted to the other respective operating state;

    wherein, in the active operating state the magazine advancing mechanism automatically advances the lancet magazine before or after a puncturing movement of a lancet and causes an unused lancet of the lancet magazine to be brought into contact with the connecting element in the subsequent puncturing movement;

    further wherein, in the passive operating state the magazine advancing mechanism does not advance the lancet magazine before or after a puncturing movement of a lancet, whereby, in the subsequent puncturing movement the same lancet used in the previous puncturing movement is again brought into contact with the connecting element of the lancet drive.
