a first tenant network management system operated by the first wireless communication service provider, a second tenant network management system operated by the second wireless communication service provider, and entities within the antenna system; and
a local database store to store information from poll and status information requests that the common management system originates;
wherein the software element is configured to receive control messages sent from the first tenant network management system and to receive control messages sent from the second tenant network management system;
wherein the software element is further configured to forward control messages to entities within the antenna system; and
wherein the software element additionally implements;
a poll and status request message interceptor, which intercepts messages from the first and second tenant network management systems intended for entities within the antenna network and attempts to respond with information contained in the local database.

an antenna system comprising; a first unit to receive first base station signals from a first tenant base station operated by a first wireless communication service provider and to receive second tenant base station signals from a second base station operated by a second wireless communication service provider, wherein the first unit is configured to communicate at least one transport signal derived from the first and second base station signals on a distribution network; and a plurality of remotely located second units, each second unit configured to receive the transport signal from the distribution network, wherein each second unit radiates radio frequency signals derived from the transport signal and that are indicative of the first and second base station signals; and a common network management system; wherein the common network management system is configured to receive control messages from a first tenant network management system operated by the first wireless communication service provider and from a second tenant network management system operated by the second wireless communication service provider; wherein the common network management system is further configured to forward control messages to at least one of; the first unit; and at least one of the second units; wherein the common network management system further comprises;
