1. A wireless power transmission system, comprising:
- a signal generator having a connection to a source of power and configured to generate a signal at a first frequency;
a transmitting antenna configured to transmit power to a receiving antenna to power a load via an electromagnetic field at the first frequency and based on the signal generated by said signal generator, anda tuning loop being electrically isolated from the load, the tuning loop being movable relative to the receiving antenna to substantially match a resonant frequency of the receiving antenna and a resonant frequency of the transmitting antenna to improve power transfer therebetween.
