1. A composite anchor system comprising:
- a composite anchor comprising;
a cannulated proximal portion comprising a threaded outer surface and inner surface;
a distal portion coupled to the proximal portion, the distal portion comprising a top portion, a bottom portion, and a through hole, wherein the top portion is configured to be disposed within the cannulation of the proximal portion;
wherein the top portion of the distal portion comprises at least two sides and a middle portion formed between the at least two sides;
wherein the through hole is positioned distal to the proximal portion, the through hole being in communication with the cannulation of the proximal portion via a channel adjacent to the middle portion; and
a driver configured to engage a substantial length of the inner surface of the proximal portion.

11. A composite anchor system comprising:
-
a composite anchor comprising; an absorbable cannulated proximal portion comprising a threaded outer surface and inner surface; a non-absorbable distal portion coupled to the absorbable cannulated proximal portion, the non-absorbable distal portion comprising a top portion, a bottom portion, and a through hole, wherein the top portion is configured to be disposed within the cannulation of the absorbable cannulated proximal portion; wherein the top portion of the non-absorbable distal portion comprises at least two sides and a middle portion formed between the at least two sides; wherein the through hole is positioned distal to the absorbable proximal portion, the through hole being in communication with the cannulation of the absorbable proximal portion via a channel adjacent to the middle portion; and a driver configured to engage a substantial length of the inner surface of the absorbable cannulated proximal portion.
