1. A method for transmitting data in a communication system with a plurality of antennas, the method comprising the steps of:
- generating data and a first type pilot;
transmitting the first type pilot at a first position in a frequency domain that corresponds to a position of the generated data in the frequency domain and at a first position in a time domain that is in a transmission time interval of the data;
generating a second type pilot; and
transmitting the second type pilot at a predetermined second position in the time domain and a predetermined second position the frequency domain, in the transmission time interval that is predefined by a transmitter and a receiver,wherein the transmission time interval comprises two parts, each of the two parts including the first type pilot on a center thereof.

Abstract
Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving data in a communication system with a plurality of antennas. Data and a first pilot are generated. The first pilot is transmitted at a first position in a frequency domain that corresponds to a position of the generated data in the frequency domain and at a first position in a time domain that is with the generated data, in every transmission time interval of the data. A second pilot is generated. The second pilot is transmitted at predetermined second positions in the time domain and the frequency domain, in a transmission time interval that is predefined by a transmitter and a receiver.
