1. A method of communication between a first device and a second device, the first device comprising a plurality of distributed transceivers, each distributed transceiver comprising one or more corresponding antenna arrays, the method comprising:

  • identifying (i) a set of reflectors in a propagation environment between the first and second devices and (ii) a set of antenna patterns that result in cross-interference at the second device to be reduced below a programmable threshold;

    configuring a set of distributed transceivers in the plurality of distributed transceivers to associate each distributed transceiver in the set of distributed transceivers with an identified reflector to transmit a data stream to the second device using the distributed transceiver and the associated reflector, wherein;

    said configuration is based on a spatial multiplexing mode that utilizes a same frequency for each distributed transceiver; and

    each of said set of distributed transceivers controls communication via said one or more corresponding antenna arrays utilizing one or more of said identified set of antenna patterns; and

    multiplexing a plurality of data streams between the first and second devices via said configured set of transceivers and the corresponding antenna arrays.
