1. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, having stored there upon a computer program, the computer program causing a general purpose computer to perform the steps of:

  • determining one or more procedures for ingestion of a medication in accordance with a medication prescription regimen;

    identifying one or more predefined movement sequences associated with such procedures;

    providing on a display of a local device one or more instruction prompts instructing a user how to follow the one or more predefined movement sequences, including proper ingestion, of the medication;

    capturing one or more video activity sequences by the local device of a user following the one or more instruction prompts instructing the user to perform the one or more predefined movement sequences;

    storing the captured one or more video activity sequences to a non-transitory computer readable storage medium of the local device;

    comparing the stored one or more video activity sequences in real time to the identified one or more predefined movement sequences by a computer processor associated with the local device;

    determining differences between stored one or more video activity sequences and the identified one or more predefined movement sequences and that the user has failed to properly perform the one or more predefined movement sequences;

    providing one or more further instructions via the display of the local device in real time the one or more further instructions further instructing a user how to properly administer the medication during a current medication administration session in accordance with the one or more predefined movement sequences;

    capturing one or more second video activity sequences by the local device of a user following the one or more further instructions;

    storing the captured one or more second video activity sequences to a non-transitory computer readable storage medium of the local device;

    comparing the stored one or more second video activity sequences in real time to the identified one or more predefined movement sequences by a computer processor associated with the local device; and

    determining there are no differences between the stored one or more second video activity sequences and the identified one or more predefined movement sequences, confirming in real time that the user has properly performed the one or more predefined movement sequences, thus confirming proper medication administration, including ingestion of the medication.
