Abstract

A system for one or more portions of one or more regions of an electronic paper assembly having one or more display layers includes, but is not limited to: obtaining first information regarding one or more positions of one or more portions of one or more regions of the electronic paper assembly and sending one or more application related information portions to the electronic paper assembly based upon the obtaining of the first information. In addition to the foregoing, other related method/system aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers; and

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining strain information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining pattern information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining geometrical information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining optical fiber derived information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining position information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining origami-like information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining angle information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining sequence information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining bend information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining edge information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining gyroscopic information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining geographical information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

14. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining GPS information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

15. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining triangulation information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

16. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining map location information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

17. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more flexures of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

18. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining sequence information associated with two or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

19. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining orientation information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

20. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining change information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, signaling to enable at least some television functionality and identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, signaling to enable at least some eBook functionality and identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, signaling to enable at least some audio functionality and identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, signaling to enable at least some game functionality and identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of public content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of movie-related content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of video content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, signaling to enable at least some instant message functionality and identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, signaling to enable at least some walker guidance functionality and identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

30. The system of claim 1, wherein the one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers comprises:

one or more obtaining modules configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more at least partially overlapping display layers.

The system of claim 30, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined flexure and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined flexure, identifying at least one outside display layer of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

The system of claim 31, wherein the one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined flexure and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined flexure, identifying at least one outside display layer of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content comprises:

one or more processing modules configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined flexure and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined flexure, identifying at least one outside display layer of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of first content and identifying at least one inside display layer of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of second content.

33. A system comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers; and

circuitry configured for processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.

34. A method comprising:

obtaining first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly that includes two or more display layers; and

processing the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including determining whether the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value and, if the first information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value, identifying at least one of the two or more display layers of the at least one electronic paper assembly for display of content.
