- positioning a gastric restrictor assembly within a portion of the digestive tract, the assembly including a housing having a base portion, a waist portion, and a head portion, the base portion, the waist portion and the head portion being of unitary construction and defining a throughbore, the assembly further including a base member having a plurality of pins extending therefrom configured to be received within the housing; and
retracting the base member within the housing.
