A foam-formed human collagen strand material comprising a matrix of reticulated pores, said strand material formed by depositing a dispersed solution of human collagen strands on a template, the reticulated pores having a pore size ranging from greater than 0.6 mm to less than 2.0 mm, wherein the matrix of reticulated pores comprises a plurality of fenestrations oriented in a first direction providing channels configured to conduct fluid and cell movement within and throughout the foam-formed human collagen strand material;

  • said material comprising the matrix of reticulated pores further comprising a surface being embossed to form a surface topography wherein matrices of intersecting embossed surface channels include an axial channel extending between an embossed top surface channel intersection point and an embossed bottom surface channel intersection point.
