1. A method for computer networking, the method comprising:

  • in an audio video bridging network, reserving a plurality of network resources over a plurality of network paths having individual audio video bridging switches, wherein the reserving of network resources includes reserving resources of the individual audio video bridging switches for respective data streams; and

    transmitting data streams over the network paths utilizing the reserved network resources to a plurality of ports in a device, wherein each one of the data streams is transmitted to a respective one of the ports via a respective one of the audio video bridging switches, wherein the data streams comprise a data stream of media content and a supplemental redundant data stream of the same media content.
