1. A signal processing method for allowing a repeater to transmit a signal received from an external apparatus to a terminal, the method comprising:

  • at the external apparatus, transmitting a modulated signal, which is modulated in the form of a low order modulation symbol including basic information bits, to the terminal or the repeater;

    at the repeater, generating a second modulated signal, which is modulated in the form of a high order modulation symbol including the basic information bits, which is recovered from the modulated signal received from the external apparatus, and additional information bits and transmitting the generated signal to the terminal; and

    at the terminal, recovering information by combining or selecting the signal received from the external apparatus or the signal received from the repeater,wherein the recovering of the information bits comprises;

    performing a soft decision bit demodulation based on a highest modulation order of all signals received by the terminal; and

    determining information bits, which is to be recovered, according to a relative difference between soft decision bit values that are obtained through the soft decision bit demodulation.
