1. A method for analyzing data from a continuous glucose sensor, comprising:
- receiving sensor data from a first transcutaneous continuous glucose sensor;
receiving reference data from a second transcutaneous continuous glucose sensor;
calculating, using a processor, a conversion function based on the reference data and prior information obtained from at least one of in vitro testing of at least one continuous glucose sensor or in vivo use of at least one continuous glucose sensor;
validating, using the processor, the conversion function based on additional prior information obtained from at least one of in vitro testing of at least one continuous glucose sensor or in vivo use of at least one continuous glucose sensor; and
converting, using the processor, the sensor data to calibrated data using the validated conversion function.

a sensor data receiving module configured to receive sensor data from a first transcutaneous continuous glucose sensor; a reference data receiving module configured to receive reference data from a second transcutaneous continuous glucose sensor; and a processor module configured to calculate a conversion function based on the reference data and prior information obtained from at least one of in vitro testing of at least one continuous glucose sensor or in vivo use of at least one continuous glucose sensor, validate the conversion function based on additional prior information obtained from at least one of in vitro testing of at least one continuous glucose sensor or in vivo use of at least one continuous glucose sensor, and convert the sensor data to calibrated data using the validated conversion function. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)
