1. A method for preparing a music composition to be associated with a text message, said method comprising the steps of:
- (a) automatically analyzing the text message in a computer to select a musical phrase related to a semantic meaning of each natural language word or phrase in the text message in the context of said text message, each such musical phrase having a preselected meter and selected from a pre-composed library of musical phrases correlated with such semantic meanings; and
(b) automatically forming a musical composition associated with the text message and in the predetermined meter by combining said selected musical phrases in an order which preserves the semantic meaning of the text message.

Systems, methods and computer program products are provided for translating a natural language into music. Through systematic parsing, music compositions can be created. These compositions can be created by one or more persons who do not speak the same natural language.

translating at least some of the messages to be exchanged from a first natural language to a second natural language before or after automatically analyzing a related text message to select an associated musical phrase.
