1. A method for managing pressure of a vehicle against a surface, comprising steps of:
- sensing a vehicle location of the vehicle;
determining a landscape position based on the vehicle location;
determining a vehicle mass of the vehicle using at least one of a value received wirelessly from an off-board location and a calculated value from a volume measurement; and
adjusting the pressure of the vehicle against the surface based on the landscape position and the vehicle mass of the vehicle.
