1. A gaming system comprising:

  • at least one input device;

    at least one display device;

    at least one processor; and

    at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one display device and the at least one input device to;

    (a) display a plurality of award generators, each award generator including a plurality of sections, each of the plurality of sections of each award generator being associated with one of a plurality of different displayed awards;

    (b) display a play of a wagering game upon a placement of one of a plurality of different wager amounts; and

    (c) upon an occurrence of a triggering event associated with the play of the wagering game;

    (i) prior to activating any of the plurality of award generators, determine a quantity of at least one of the plurality of the award generators to activate, said determination being based on the wager amount placed in association with the displayed play of the wagering game, wherein different wager amounts placed in association with the displayed play of the wagering game are associated with different quantities of award generators to activate,(ii) activate the determined quantity of at least one of the plurality of the award generators, and(iii) for each activated award generator;

    (A) indicate a section of the activated award generator,(B) determine the displayed award associated with the indicated section,(C) determine an award based on a sum of the determined displayed awards associated with the indicated sections of the activated award generators, and(D) provide the determined award to a player.
