1. A device for facilitating measurement in a vessel, the device comprising:

  • a plurality of wires woven to form a self-expanding textile structure,the self-expanding textile structure comprising a plurality of woven bulbs in a non-compressed state,the plurality of wires comprising;

    shape-memory wires,a first radiopaque wire forming at least part of a first sine wave visibly distinct from the shape memory wires under x-ray, anda second radiopaque wire forming at least part of a second sine wave longitudinally offset from the first sine wave and visibly distinct from the shape memory wires under x-ray;

    wherein the longitudinally offset first and second sine waves facilitate length measurement in the vessel, andwherein at least one of the longitudinally offset first and second sine waves comprises a plurality of circumferentially adjacent radiopaque wires that are parallel and longitudinally spaced along the textile structure without said shape memory wires being circumferentially between the plurality of circumferentially adjacent radiopaque wires in the at least one of the longitudinally offset first and second sine waves.
