1. A method for wireless communications, comprising:
- allocating resources of a backhaul link between a donor base station and a relay base station to the relay base station for communicating with the donor base station; and
transmitting a control channel indicating the allocated resources to the relay base station, wherein the control channel is transmitted on a subset of physical resource blocks (PRBs) of subframes assigned for downlink communications on the backhaul link, and wherein a size of the control channel is aligned with a bandwidth-dependent resource block group (RBG) size.
