1. An implantable medical device, comprising:

  • a frame comprising at least one elongate member; and

    a fixation member comprising a first cuff, a second cuff, at least a first tissue engagement member configured to anchor to tissue at an implant site to thereby hold the implantable medical device in a position at the implant site, and a cuff joining member comprising an arcuate shape and connected at a first end to the first cuff and at a second end to the second cuff;

    wherein the first cuff substantially surrounds a perimeter of a first portion of the at least one elongate member, the second cuff substantially surrounds a perimeter of a second portion of the at least one elongate member, and the cuff joining member does not substantially surround a perimeter of any portion of the at least one elongate member,and wherein the first and second cuffs each have a slip-fit relation with the at least one elongate member to allow for relative movement between the fixation member and the at least one elongate member in response to a bending of the at least one elongate member.
