1. A method comprising:

  • a. getting a plurality of scanned print portions of a body part, wherein the body part is a finger and the plurality of scanned print portions comprises at least two of the following;

    a tip of the finger, a bottom of the finger, a right side of the finger, and a left side of the finger;

    b. identifying a first one of the plurality of scanned print portions of a user in a first area of an optical surface;

    c. generating a first event based on identifying the first one of the plurality of scanned print portions of the user in the first area of the optical surface;

    d. identifying a second one of the plurality of scanned print portions of the user in the first area of the optical surface; and

    e. generating a second event based on identifying the second one of the plurality of scanned print portions of the user in the first area of the optical surface, wherein the second event is different from the first event.
