1. A system, comprising:

  • an intellectual property (JP) marketplace processor,a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the processor,the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising;

    receiving, by the processor and from a channel provider, a negotiation request associated with a first channel;

    parsing, by the processor, the negotiation request into a plurality of negotiation parameters, wherein the negotiation parameters comprise an agreement between the system and the channel provider to prioritize the first channel;

    determining, by the processor, a first response based upon the negotiation parameters;

    sending, by the processor, the first response to the channel provider;

    receiving, by the processor, an acceptance of the first response from the channel provider;

    prioritizing, by the processor and based upon the negotiation parameters, the first channel in a channel guide interface; and

    displaying, by the processor and in response to the receiving the acceptance, the first channel in the channel guide interface.
