1. A turning tool holder used for a combined lathe apparatus, comprising:

  • a mounting portion having an axisa holder main body connected to the mounting portion; and

    an attachment groove provided for attaching a turning tool having a turning tip to the holder main body, the attachment groove being formed at an outer surface of the holder main body so as to extend along a plane crossing the axis of the mounting portion, the attachment groove being defined by four surfaces, the four surfaces consisting of a first inner wall surface and a second inner wall surface that extend parallel to the plane, a third inner wall surface that extends perpendicularly to and connects the first and second inner wall surfaces, and a fourth inner wall surface that connects the first, second, and third inner wall surfaces at an inside of the holder main body, the attachment groove being opened at the outer surface of the holder main body in a direction opposite to the third inner wall surface and in a direction opposite to the fourth inner wall surface, and the first inner wall surface being located closest to the mounting portion and is referred to as a turning process tool attachment surface on which the turning tool is attached;

    wherein the combined lathe apparatus comprising;

    a workpiece spindle on which a workpiece is mounted, the workpiece spindle having a first axis; and

    a tool spindle to which the mounting portion of a turning process tool is coaxially and removably attached for carrying out a turning process on the workpiece, wherein the turning process tool is made up of the turning tool and the turning tool holder;

    an automatic tool replacing device to take out a specific turning process tool from among a plurality of the turning process tools and to replace the turning process tool attached to the tool spindle with the specific turning process tool;

    a tool headstock which is movable along a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis of the workpiece spindle and forms a predetermined angle with a horizontal plane, wherein the predetermined angle is greater than zero degrees and less than or equal to ninety degrees, wherein the tool spindle forms a portion of the tool headstock; and

    a movable body which supports the tool headstock;

    wherein the movable body is movable in a direction including a third axis component which is perpendicular to the first axis and the second axis;

    wherein the tool spindle is controlled to be rotated or held without being rotated;

    wherein a cutting point of the specific turning process tool attached to the tool spindle is moved along a horizontal line which is perpendicular to the first axis by moving the movable body in the direction including the third axis component; and

    wherein the axis of the mounting portion is allocable to extend parallel to the second axis while the mounting portion is attached to the tool spindle, and when the axis of the mounting portion is located parallel to the second axis, the tool attachment surface is positioned to extend parallel to the horizontal plane.
