1. An article for providing a plurality of test strips, said article comprising:
- (a) a plurality of segments, each of said segments having a first end and a second end and attached to at least one other segment, said segments arranged in a line;
(b) each segment comprising an aperture at the first end, wherein at least a portion of the aperture is in fluid communication with a sample chamber and a notch at a sample receiving end of the aperture;
(c) each segment having a recess on one major surface thereof comprising a test strip having an electrode arrangement, and(d) each segment having at least a first slot at the second end for moving said segment linearly for enhancement of collecting a sample of biological fluid emerging from an opening in the skin of a patient.

The article contains a plurality of biosensors arranged in such a manner that each of the biosensors can be utilized before the article must be removed from the apparatus.
