1. An infusion pump assembly comprising:

  • a housing assembly comprising;

    a reservoir for receiving an infusible fluid located within the housing assembly;

    an exit located within the housing assembly;

    a pump assembly, located within the housing assembly, for pumping a quantity of infusible fluid from the reservoir to the exit;

    a first valve assembly, located within the housing assembly, located downstream from the reservoir and upstream from the exit wherein the first valve selectively isolates the pump assembly from the reservoir;

    a second valve assembly, located within the housing assembly, located downstream from the pump assembly and upstream from the exit wherein the second valve selectively isolates the exit from the pump assembly; and

    a single antenna, located within the housing assembly, comprising a split ring resonator antenna having a resonant frequency, the split ring resonator antenna comprising a plurality of planar metallic layers, the split ring resonator antenna comprising an impedance matching circuit, wherein the impedance matching circuit is integrated into a transmission line.
