1. A computer implemented method to announce a uniform resource locator file availability, the computer implemented method comprising:
- receiving user input describing the uniform resource locator, and in response, determining whether the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier;
in response to a determination that the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier, wirelessly transmitting an identifier a service set identifier (SSID) comprising the uniform resource locator as a wireless identifier;
receiving a second user input describing a second universal resource locator, and in response, determining whether the second user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier;
in response to a determination that the second user input is not short enough to transmit as a service set identifier, storing the second user input for later serving out; and
receiving a request for the second user input, and in response to receiving the request, transmitting the second user input, as stored for serving, to a requester.

1. A computer implemented method to announce a uniform resource locator file availability, the computer implemented method comprising:
-
receiving user input describing the uniform resource locator, and in response, determining whether the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; in response to a determination that the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier, wirelessly transmitting an identifier a service set identifier (SSID) comprising the uniform resource locator as a wireless identifier; receiving a second user input describing a second universal resource locator, and in response, determining whether the second user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; in response to a determination that the second user input is not short enough to transmit as a service set identifier, storing the second user input for later serving out; and receiving a request for the second user input, and in response to receiving the request, transmitting the second user input, as stored for serving, to a requester. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

7. A computer program product to announce file availability, the computer program product comprising:
-
one or more computer-readable, storage devices; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices, to receive user input describing the uniform resource locator, and in response, determine whether the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices, to receive user input describing the uniform resource locator, and in response, determining whether the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices, to wirelessly transmit an identifier a service set identifier (SSID) comprising the uniform resource locator as a wireless identifier, in response to a determination that the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices, to store the second user input for later serving out, in response to a determination that the second user input is not short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices, to store the second user input for later serving out together with a preset indicator the uniform resource locator, in response to a determination that the second user input is not short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; and program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices, to receive a request for the second user input on a Wi-Fi channel defined, in part, by the preset indicator, and in response to receiving the request, transmit the second user input, as stored for serving, to a requester. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11)

12. A computer system for announcing file availability, the computer system comprising:
-
one or more processors, one or more computer-readable memories and one or more computer-readable storage devices; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, to receive a user input describing the uniform resource locator, and in response, determine whether the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, to receive user input describing the uniform resource locator, and in response, determining whether the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, to wirelessly transmit an identifier a service set identifier (SSID) comprising the uniform resource locator as a wireless identifier, in response to a determination that the user input is short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, to store the second user input for later serving out, in response to a determination that the second user input is not short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, to store the second user input for later serving out together with a preset indicator, in response to a determination that the second user input is not short enough to transmit as a service set identifier; and program instructions, stored on at least one of the one or more storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, to receive a request for the second user input on a Wi-Fi channel defined, in part, by the preset indicator, and in response to receiving the request, transmit the second user input, as stored for serving, to a requester the uniform resource locator. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16)
