1. A computer-implemented method for processing transactions, comprising:

  • receiving, by one or more computing devices and from a communications device operated by a customer, an electronic coupon and personal data to facilitate a transaction between the customer and a merchant;

    transmitting, by the one or more computing devices, data about the electronic coupon and the customer personal data to a remote server;

    receiving, by the one or more computing devices and from the remote server, an indication that the transaction is authorized;

    receiving, by the one or more computing devices and from the remote server, an incentive to promote future transactions by the customer; and

    presenting, by the one or more computing devices, the incentive to the customer.
