A base station apparatus in a mobile communication system in which a mobile station apparatus is configured to transmit, to the base station apparatus, uplink data on a physical uplink shared channel, the physical uplink shared channel is assigned by using a physical downlink control channel, the base station apparatus comprising:
- a transmitting unit configured to transmit, to the mobile station apparatus, a radio resource control signal including first information instructing the mobile station apparatus to periodically transmit first reception quality information,the transmitting unit configured to transmit, to the mobile station apparatus, the radio resource control signal including second information for determining an amount of resources for second reception quality information transmitted on the physical uplink shared channel, andthe transmitting unit configured to transmit on the physical downlink control channel, to the mobile station apparatus, third information instructing the mobile station apparatus to transmit the second reception quality information on the physical uplink shared channel; and
a receiving unit configured to only receive, from the mobile station apparatus, the second reception quality information on the physical uplink shared channel in a case that the transmission of the first reception quality information which is instructed by using the first information and the transmission of the second reception quality information which is instructed by using the third information would occur at the same time, whereinthe amount of resources for the second reception quality information is determined based on the second information.

Abstract
A mobile station (MS) transmits, to a base station (BS), uplink data on a PUSCH, the PUSCH is assigned by using a PDCCH. The MS receives, from the BS, a radio resource control signal including first information instructing the MS to periodically transmit first reception quality information (RQI), the radio resource control signal including second information for determining an amount of resources for second RQI transmitted on the PUSCH, and third information instructing the MS to transmit the second RQI on the PUSCH; and transmits, to the BS, only the second RQI on the PUSCH in a case that the transmission of the first RQI which is instructed by using the first information and the transmission of the second RQI which is instructed by using the third information would occur at the same time, wherein the amount of resources for the second RQI is determined based on the second information.
