1. A method for backing up objects from a first location to a second location, comprising:

  • determining objects to be backed up and a prioritization of the objects according to a first criterion, the first criterion comprising a predicted usage interval derived from an object periodicity, the predicted usage interval comprising a next predicted time of usage for each of the objects;

    adjusting the prioritization of the objects based on each object'"'"'s next predicted time of usage, wherein the objects with an earlier predicted time of usage are prioritized before objects with a later predicted time of usage;

    transmitting the objects from the first location to the second location substantially in accordance with the prioritization;

    suspending the transmission of objects from the first location to the second location, based on a non-persistent network connectivity;

    continuing transmitting the objects; and

    determining objects to be backed up and recalculating prioritization dynamically according to the first criterion, wherein relevant changes in the objects are reflected.
