1. An implantable medical device delivery system comprising:
- an external device located outside a body of a patient;
an elongate catheter body defining a lumen and having a proximal end configured to be coupled to the external device located outside of the patient and a distal end configured to extend within the body of the patient;
a first telemetry coupling member located near the distal end of the catheter body;
a feed line coupled to the first telemetry coupling member located near the distal end of the catheter body andcoupled to the external device at the proximal end of the catheter body;
an implantable medical device located within the lumen defined by the catheter body and detachably coupled to the distal end of the catheter body, wherein the first telemetry coupling member is communicatively coupled to a second telemetry coupling member, the second telemetry coupling member in the implantable medical device, and wherein the external device is communicatively coupled to the implantable medical device via the first and second telemetry coupling members.
