  • the cable having one or more insulated conductors and the shield disposed to surround the one or more insulated conductors;

    the enclosure having a first wall, wherein the first wall has an opening through which the cable is passed, the enclosure being electrically conductive at the opening;

    a capacitor in a cylindrical or tube shape having i. a first terminal disposed around an inner circumference of the capacitor wherein the first terminal of the capacitor is in substantially continuous contact with the shield of the cable at an outer circumference of the shield; and

    ii. a second terminal disposed around an outer circumference of the capacitor wherein the second terminal of the capacitor is in substantially continuous contact at an inner circumference of the opening in the enclosure, forming an electrical connection between the capacitor and the enclosure.
