- an intellectual property (IP) marketplace processor,a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the processor,the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising;
determining, by the processor, an IP portfolio associated with a user;
determining, by the processor and based upon the IP portfolio, a plurality of channels associated with the IP portfolio;
creating, by the processor, a new channel based on the IP portfolio;
generating, by the processor, a custom channel guide interface based upon the IP portfolio and the plurality of channels;
identifying, by the processor, a potential buyer of a first IP asset in the IP portfolio;
prioritizing, by the processor and based on a status of a licensing negotiation between the user and the potential buyer, the new channel within the custom channel guide interface, wherein the new channel is prioritized within a list of the plurality of channels based on a level of effectiveness of the new channel; and
presenting, by the processor, the custom channel guide interface to the user.

A standardized data collection method enables IP assets to be characterized, rated and valuated in a consistent manner. Project management, workflow and data security functionality enable consistent, efficient and secure interactions between the IP Marketplace participants throughout the IP transaction process. Business rules, workflows, valuation models and rating methods may be user defined or based upon marketplace, industry or technology standards.

determining, by an intellectual property (IP) marketplace computer-based system, an IP portfolio associated with a user; determining, by the computer-based system and based upon the IP portfolio, a plurality of channels associated with the IP portfolio; creating, by the computer-based system, a new channel based on the IP portfolio; generating, by the computer-based system, a custom channel guide interface based upon the IP portfolio and the plurality of channels; identifying, by the computer-based system, a potential buyer of a first IP asset in the IP portfolio; prioritizing, by the computer-based system and based on a status of a licensing negotiation between the user and the potential buyer, the new channel within the custom channel guide interface, wherein the new channel is prioritized within a list of the plurality of channels based on a level of effectiveness of the new channel; and presenting, by the computer-based system, the custom channel guide interface to the user.
