1. A method, comprising:

  • calculating, by at least one server computer communicatively coupled to a network, a link match score indicating whether a search engine ranking for a first website having a first Internet protocol (IP) address would improve if said first website were to be modified to include a hyperlink pointing to a second website having a second IP address, wherein said first IP address comprises a first class C IP address and said second IP address comprises a second class C IP address, wherein said link match score is a function of whether a first three octets of said first class C IP address matches a first three octets of said second class C IP address;

    determining, by one or more of said at least one server computer, whether said link match score exceeds a predetermined value; and

    responsive to a determination that said link match score exceeds said predetermined value, transmitting a recommendation to an operator of said first website to modify said first website to include a hyperlink to said second website.
