1. A computer system for delivering content to a plurality of users, the system comprising:
- a processor; and
a memory coupled to a processor and containing instructions which, when executed, cause the system to;
receive content and write a dynamic section comprising the content;
receive a first data item created using a first operating system;
receive a second data item created using a second operating system;
compile the dynamic section into a first compiled section executable by the first operating system and the second operating system;
compile the dynamic section and first data item into a second compiled section executable by the first operating system and the second operating system;
compile the dynamic section and the second data item into a third compiled section executable by the first operating system and the second operating system;
compile the dynamic section, the first data item, and the second data item into a fourth complied section executable by the first operating system and the second operating system; and
send any of the compiled sections to a user device.

Abstract
The invention generally relates to optimizing the speed and reliability of the delivery of content or functionality to electronic devices. In certain aspects, the invention provides a system for managing content including a production server with a web interface and configured to allow a producer to create content. The system includes a gateway server which can receive the content and write it to a dynamic section. The gateway server can then compile the dynamic section into a compiled section, still including the content, and send it to a client, thereby giving an end-user access to new content or functionality.
