1. One or more computer-readable hardware storage devices having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon for performing a method of validating an Really Simple Syndication (“

  • RSS”

    ) feed against a schema, the method comprising;

    receiving input from a user describing a feed location for the RSS feed that is to be validated;

    displaying a selection interface that displays a plurality of schemas used by a content provider to display the RSS feed content through a website operated by the content provider;

    receiving a selection from the user of a schema against which the RSS feed is to be validated, wherein the selection of the schema occurs when the user selects one of the plurality of schemas displayed on the selection interface;

    receiving a request from the user to validate the RSS feed against the schema;

    validating the RSS feed against the schema in response to receiving the request from the user to validate the RSS feed against the schema by determining that the RSS feed conforms to requirements of the schema;

    based on validating the RSS feed against the schema, displaying one or more of a plurality of display templates configured for use with the RSS feed that has been validated against the schema, wherein the one or more of the plurality of display templates may be selected by a user through a user interface;

    receiving a selection from the user of a display template from the plurality of display templates; and

    indicating to the user that the RSS feed has been successfully validated against the schema by displaying at least a portion of feed content from the RSS feed in a representation that is based on the display template selected by the user that utilizes the schema, wherein the representation includes only the feed content corresponding to one or more fields of feed content selected by the user for display.
