- selecting, using one or more computing devices, a first unified telephony session;
selecting, using one or more computing devices, a first arbitrator associated with the first unified telephony session;
selecting, using one or more computing devices, a first set of participants for the first unified telephony session;
directing the first arbitrator to act as a proxy connection for a first channel associated with the first set of participants, wherein the first arbitrator is at least one participant of the first set of participants; and
wherein selecting at least one of the first arbitrator, the first set of participants and the first channel is based upon, at least in part, a self-learning algorithm related to the first unified telephony session.
