1. A method of providing storage accessibility for multimedia data, comprising:
- storing a first data version of specified content based on a particular media format;
storing at least a second data version of related content based on a different media format;
providing a cross-reference between the first data version and the at least second data version to enable coordinated management by at least one of a designated user or an approved device for search and possible retrieval of at least one of the first data version or the at least second data version;
associating an identification tag with a database listing each of a plurality of alternative communication types to which one or more data packets holding at least one of the first data version or the second data version can be converted;
obtaining retrieval of at least one of the first data version or the at least second data version by at least one of one or more parties or by the designated user, including at least;
obtaining retrieval of a responsive data packet using an original particular media type;
providing a conversion tag to enable a conversion of the responsive data packet to the original particular media type; and
implementing communication access by at least one of one or more parties or the designated user via a communication type that is correlated with at least one of the first data version or the at least second data version.
