Method and apparatus for transceiving data in a MIMO system
First Claim
1. A method of transmitting a data block in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- determining a target length;
generating a first padded data block by repeatedly adding a first padding to a data block so that a length of the first padded data block is less than the target length and is equal to a multiple of 4 octets;
generating a second padded data block by repeatedly adding a second padding to the first padded data block while a remaining padding space is greater than or equal to 4 bytes, wherein the remaining padding space corresponds to a value obtained by subtracting a length of the second padded data block from the target length, and,if the remaining padding space is smaller than 4 bytes, adding a third padding to the second padded data block until the length of the second padded data block is equal to the target length; and
transmitting the second padded data block to a receiver.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transceiving data. A method in which a transmitting terminal transmits data to a receiving terminal in a MIMO system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: generating a data field containing the data; generating a signal field containing information on the data field; generating a data frame containing the data field and the signal field; and transmitting the data frame to the receiving terminal. According to the present invention, an end of the frame being transmitted is accurately notified to the receiving terminal in a communication system in which the frame is transmitted using MIMO, thereby decoding the frame in a more efficient manner at the receiving terminal.
