1. A method of providing a game experience to a player, comprising the steps of:

  • providing a game apparatus comprising;

    a chamber having one dimension not greater than one centimeter, said chamber configured to contain a biologically active component, said chamber having at least one input port configured to allow a stimulus to be applied to said biologically active component, and at least one output port configured to provide a signal indicative of a response of said biologically active component;

    a stimulus controller in communication with said at least one input port of said chamber, said stimulus controller configured to accept an instruction from a user and in response to said instruction to provide said stimulus to said biologically active component;

    a response receiver in communication with said at least one output port of said chamber, said response receiver configured to accept said signal indicative of said response of said biologically active component and configured to generate at least one signal suitable for display to a user; and

    a computer-based game controller, said computer-based game controller comprising a set of pre-defined rules of play that define a game and that comprise pre-defined rules of determining a score for one or more players for said game;

    receiving an instruction from a user;

    responsive to said instruction, performing the steps of;

    operating said stimulus controller to apply a stimulus to said biologically active component according to said set of pre-defined rules of play;

    sensing a response of said biologically active component to said stimulus; and

    analyzing in said computer-based game controller according to said set of pre-defined rules of play said response of said biologically active component to determine a score for one or more players of said game; and

    transmitting said score for said player of said game to said user.
