1. A system for treating abnormal tissue at a treatment location, comprising:

  • an electrode support comprising a flexible, non-distensible backing with a pre-deployed state and a deployed state, a size of the electrode support in the deployed state selected to engage a wall of an esophageal body lumen;

    an inflatable member around which the electrode support is wrapped such that the electrode support extends continuously around a circumference of the inflatable member and continuously covers the circumference along a length of the inflatable member between a distal end and a proximal end of the inflatable member; and

    an electrode pattern positioned on the electrode support such that the electrode pattern wraps around a circumference of the electrode support and adapted to deliver energy to at least a portion of the engaged wall of the esophageal body lumen at a treatment location.
