1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

  • determining a context based on, at least, a document presented on a user device;

    identifying a plurality of links that each identifies a respective location of an inventory item in content of a respective software application;

    calculating a respective score for each of the links based on, at least, a relevance of the respective inventory item to the context and a probability that a user of the user device would engage with the respective application;

    providing a resource to the user device for presentation with the document wherein the resource is configured to initiate an attempt to open the respective location of a first link of the plurality of links in a user interface of the respective application of the first link, the first link being determined based on at least the respective scores of for each link, wherein calculating the respective scores comprises;

    determining a geographic location of the user device;

    identifying a type of the user device; and

    identifying a user of the user device; and

    determining the probability that the user of the user device would engage with therespective application based on;

    (i) the geographic location of the user device, (ii) the type of the user device, and (iii) a conversion rate.
