- receiving, at a first device, optical and laser data of a first optical transceiver from the first optical transceiver which is coupled to a first end of a fiber optic cable;
receiving, at the first device, optical and laser data of a second optical transceiver from the second optical transceiver which is coupled to a second end of the fiber optic cable; and
diagnosing, at the first device, the received data from the first and second optical transceivers to determine an electrical and optical operational status of the fiber optic cable and the first and second optical transceivers.
