1. An input-capable display device comprising:

  • a first substrate on which a pair of electrodes that drive a liquid crystal layer are provided;

    a second substrate that is opposed to the first substrate through the liquid crystal layer, wherein the liquid crystal layer is formed within an inner surface of the second substrate between the first substrate and the second substrate;

    a detection electrode and a dielectric film that are laminated on an outer surface of the second substrate;

    a detector that detects a position at which an electrostatic capacitance is formed with the detection electrode through the dielectric film;

    a shield conductor spaced apart from the detection electrode at a distance so as to be capable of preventing a capacitance component forming between the shield conductor and the detection electrode, the shield conductor formed on the inner surface of the second substrate such that the shield conductor is sandwiched between the second substrate and the liquid crystal layer;

    a light shielding film; and

    a color filter layer,wherein the pair of electrodes provided on the first substrate comprises a pixel electrode and a common electrode,wherein an electric potential of the shield conductor is fixed, andwherein the shield conductor, the light shielding film, and the color filter layer are laminated on the inner surface of the second substrate in order of the shield conductor, the light shielding film, and the color filter layer from the side of the second substrate toward the liquid crystal layer.
