1. A system for wirelessly mirroring video from a mobile device to a display screen, the system comprising:

  • a mobile device dongle, the mobile device dongle comprising;

    a non-USB display and audio port connector configured to electronically connect to a non-HDMI-type display and audio port on the mobile device,wherein the mobile device is a smartphone or tablet computer;

    a mobile video translator, the mobile video translator electronically connected to the audio and display port connector, and configured to;

    receive a mirrored, full screen, non-HDMI uncompressed video and audio signal from the mobile device through the display and audio port on the mobile device,process and translate the mirrored, full screen, non-HDMI uncompressed video and audio signal into an HDMI video and audio signal, andoutput, based on the received mirrored, full screen, non-HDMI uncompressed video and audio signal, the HDMI video and audio signal;

    a first video network processor electronically connected to the mobile video translator, preconfigured to communicate solely with a second video network processor to the exclusion of other video network processors, and configured to;

    receive the HDMI video and audio signal from the mobile video translator,process and translate the HDMI video and audio signal into a wireless network transmission signal, andoutput, based on the received HDMI video and audio signal, the wireless network transmission signal;

    a first plurality of antennas;

    a first RF transceiver, the RF transceiver electronically connected to the first video network processor and to the first plurality of antennas, the first RF transceiver configured to communicate the wireless network transmission signal wirelessly to a second RF transceiver over at least one of the plurality of antennas and without retransmission by additional wireless networking devices;

    a rechargeable battery; and

    a power control module electronically connected to the rechargeable battery, the power control module providing power to the mobile video translator, the first video network processor, and the first RF transceiver, the power control module configured to;

    when an external power source is supplied, provide power based on the external power source and charge the rechargeable battery, andwhen no external power source is supplied, provide power based on the rechargeable battery so as to power the mobile device dongle; and

    a display screen dongle, the display screen dongle preconfigured for operation solely with the mobile device dongle, the display screen dongle comprising;

    a second plurality of antennas;

    an HDMI output connector configured to electronically connect to an HDMI input port on the display screen,the second RF transceiver, the second RF transceiver electronically connected to the second video network processor and to the second plurality of antennas, the second RF transceiver configured to receive the wireless network transmission signal from the first RF transceiver via at least one of the second plurality of antennas, and communicate the wireless network transmission signal to the second video network processor;

    the second video network processor electronically connected to the HDMI output connector, preconfigured to communicate with the first video network processor to the exclusion of other video network processors, and configured to;

    receive the wireless network transmission signal from the second RF transceiver,process and translate the wireless network transmission signal into the HDMI video and audio signal, andoutput, based on the received wireless network transmission signal, the HDMI video and audio signal to the HDMI output connector for display on the display screen,wherein the first and second video network processors are preconfigured to initiate communications with one another in response to being powered on and without input by a user of system.
