Abstract

A method for transmitting information of resources for use in transmission of ACK/NACK signals in a mobile communication system is disclosed. An example method for receiving ACK/NACK signals in a mobile communication system is also disclosed. When resources for transmission of data and resources for transmission of control information of the data are scheduled through virtual unit resources, the method identifies information of resources for receiving an ACK/NACK signal for transmission data mapped to information of at least one of a virtual unit resource allocated to the transmission data and a virtual unit resource allocated to control information of the transmission data, and receives the ACK/NACK signal for the transmission data through the information of resources for receiving the ACK/NACK signal.

Claims

1. A method of receiving Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signals in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mobile communication system, the method comprising:

transmitting a plurality of data blocks by using one or more Resource Blocks (RBs), wherein the plurality of data blocks are converted into respective codewords which are mapped to layers for MIMO transmission;

determining resource indexes of ACK/NACK signals, which correspond to the plurality of data blocks, respectively; and

receiving the ACK/NACK signals by using the resource indexes,

wherein a resource index of the ACK/NACK signal corresponding to a first data block of the plurality of data blocks is determined using β

receiving control information for uplink resource allocation, wherein the control information is used to indicate the one or more RBs.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the control information for the uplink resource allocation is received via at least one control channel element (CCE).

4. The method of claim 1, wherein β

5. A method of transmitting Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signals in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mobile communication system, the method comprising:

receiving a plurality of data blocks by using one or more Resource Blocks (RBs), wherein the plurality of data blocks are associated with respective codewords which are mapped to layers for MIMO transmission;

determining resource indexes of ACK/NACK signals, which correspond to the a plurality of data blocks, respectively; and

transmitting the ACK/NACK signals by using the resource indexes,

wherein a resource index of the ACK/NACK signal corresponding to a first data block of the plurality of data blocks is determined using β

9. A User Equipment (UE) configured to receive Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signals in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mobile communication system, the UE comprising:

a Radio Frequency (RF) unit; and

a processor, wherein the processor is configured to;

transmit a plurality of data blocks by using one or more Resource Blocks (RBs), wherein the plurality of data blocks are converted into respective codewords which are mapped to layers for MIMO transmission,

determine resource indexes of ACK/NACK signals, which correspond to the plurality of data blocks, respectively, and

receive the ACK/NACK signals by using the resource indexes,

wherein a resource index of the ACK/NACK signal corresponding to a first data block of the plurality of data blocks is determined using β

13. A Base Station (BS) configured to transmit Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signals in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mobile communication system, the BS comprising:

a Radio Frequency (RF) unit; and

a processor, wherein the processor is configured to;

receive a plurality of data blocks by using one or more Resource Blocks (RBs), wherein the plurality of data blocks are associated with respective codewords which are mapped to layers for MIMO transmission,

determine resource indexes of ACK/NACK signals, which correspond to the a plurality of data blocks, respectively, and

transmit the ACK/NACK signals by using the resource indexes,

wherein a resource index of the ACK/NACK signal corresponding to a first data block of the plurality of data blocks is determined using β
